Despite the route that at the time Waco was seen as the new unending home of TCU, in 1910 a fire of dim birthplace pounded the school's Main Administration constructing. A re-trying undertaking was sorted out, yet before spread could start a social event of venturesome Fort Worth authorities offered the school $200,000 in fixing up cash (about $4.6 million in 2011 money) and a 50-range of zone (200,000 m2) grounds as a trickiness to come back to Fort Worth.
